Meet Sharon
I am...
Hi there, I’m Sharon!
I’m a true Gemini and my life has been an array of opposites and diverse experiences. I can be loud and out there, yet I love to live in quiet and serenity. I love lights and stars and trees and the land. I collect stones, feathers, and post cards. I’m into astrology and spiritual by nature. I'm down to earth and love drinking tea and beer. I’m more childlike now than I have ever been, and I can laugh and sing and cry, sometimes all at the one time. I love to travel and learn, and immerse myself in deep and meaningful conversations about anything and everything with whomever wants to dive in.
I was a:
- secondary teacher in South Western Sydney;
- farm and homestead assistant working with sheep, cattle, wheat, and canola, and looking after two gorgeous little girls;
- triple zero telephone responder;
- community services programs coordinator/manager – mental health, volunteering, seniors cybersecurity education, community finance;
- state and national programs and projects manager – community finance;
- retail assistant.
Now I'm a:

- wife, step-mum to 5 amazing women, Nan to 8 gorgeous little people, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, friend, colleague…

To have a place to share, to laugh, to cry, or to put a name to the thoughts and emotions that dwell within us.
Sometimes we just need someone we aren’t connected to, to allow us to take off the mask for a moment, to be honest, to let down the wall, or just feel okay enough to talk about the things we struggle to share with those we are closest to.
